Obviously we cannot freeze time. While we were plotting, the target was advancing down the Relative Motion Line.
If our own ship turned to 015° when the target was at the arrowhead, the dashed red line shows the CPA would be less than 2 miles.
We need to turn more than 15 degrees to insure a CPA of more than 2 miles. Let's work out a more exact method.
